I have experience tutoring children in a variety of subjects for Pre K- 6th grade. I enjoy tutoring because I like to see when a child understands a subject. It is a joy for me to help fill a gap for a child to guide him or her to understanding a once difficult subject. When I tutor math I may use worksheets, math games, or direct lessons. For language arts I use a variety of teaching tools such as worksheets, games, and direct instruction. Language Arts includes phonics, reading, reading comprehension, writing, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary.
