I would love to be a tutor to be able to help students of any age to be successful in all of their classes. Being a Psychology major I love working with students and especially want to gain more experience helping elementary and high school students.

For the entire year of 2010 I was chosen to be a Student Orientation Leader at Biola University and was in charge of 20 individual college freshmen. Through this I was trained to help integrate them into the community, answer any questions they or their parents might have, act as a mentor, and overall help with the transition into college life.

I am also currently a Sunday School teacher and assistant at my local church and have taught elemtary Sunday School children for many years. I have also volunteered as a camp counselor for many summers and love working and playing with kids of all ages.

Hobbies:

In my spare time I love to play sports; I played soccer my whole life and now am very involved in intramural sports at my school. I am also into photography, drawing, and enjoying reading for fun. Psychology is my major but also something I am passionate about, I love learning about people and especially enjoy working with students of all ages.

I am a huge Literature and Theatre buff. I love collecting books and reading any chance I can. I try to see as many plays and musicals as I can throughout the year, whether they are professional, community, or school productions.

I love to travel as well. I spent a semester studying abroad in London, England while I was in college. I took a Shakespeare Class there that would be any English/Theatre Major's dream, and got to intern at a local theatre. It was a once in a lifetime opportunity. I also traveled to Italy with the LMU Choruses to perform throughout the country culminating in a Mass at St. Peter's Basilica and a private concert in the Sistine Chapel.
